The Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) is a national institution in Qatar, that regulates the telecommunications and information technology sector, postal sector and access to digital media. Balancing the rights of consumers with the needs of service providers is at the heart of their business. Task was to refresh the existing brand to achieve a modern, fresh and friendly look and feel, that is approachable to the community.
The project was developed during my time as Creative Director at Grow in Qatar. I developed a new colour scheme, changed fonts and created a new layout system, while my creative team brought the brand to live through illustrations and pattern in multiple applications and campaigns, on- and offline. Beside a new brand language I also developed a mascot for CRA, which will be the future brand ambassador of the governmental authority.
